Answer from the Lock Screen
Turn on Away mode and Claude’s permission prompts wait on your phone. Allow, Deny or Always allow without opening the app.
A dashboard by the bed
Charge the phone on its side and Nightwatch becomes a night-sky dashboard with a big clock.
Dims for the night
In a dark room everything turns dim red, like StandBy’s night mode, so it won’t light up the bedroom.
Private by design
Updates travel over your own network, encrypted, and the phone accepts only your Mac’s certificate. There’s no account.
How it works

Install the relay
Nightwatch Relay runs in your Mac’s menu bar and collects session updates. It keeps itself up to date.

Set up hooks
One click adds Nightwatch’s hooks to Claude Code and Codex. It keeps your own hooks and backs up each file first.

Pair your phone
Choose Pair a Phone and scan the QR code with the iPhone Camera. Claude Code and Codex connect together.

Why “Nightwatch”
Someone stays up so you can rest.
A night watch is the person who stays awake while everyone else sleeps, and wakes them only when it matters.
Coding agents now work through the night. Nightwatch keeps watch over them from your bedside table: a quiet clock while they work, and a nudge when one finishes or needs your answer. No dashboards to babysit, no feeds to scroll.
Your sessions stay yours. They go from your Mac to your phone over your own network or tailnet. Lock Screen updates while the app is closed pass through Apple’s push service by way of a small relay we run, which forwards them without storing anything. Read the privacy policy.
