Install

1. Open the downloaded zip and move Nightwatch Relay to Applications.
2. Open it. A moon appears in the menu bar; choose Start Relay, then Set Up Hooks and Pair a Phone.

What it does on your Mac

• Installs a small relay in ~/.standby-relay and runs it at login with macOS’s built-in Python.
• With your go-ahead, adds hooks to ~/.claude/settings.json and ~/.codex/config.toml, keeping your other hooks and backing up both files first.
• Listens on port 8787 for your phone, over TLS.

To remove it: choose Stop Relay in the menu, quit the app, and delete it along with ~/.standby-relay and ~/Library/LaunchAgents/io.kkodiac.standby.relay.plist.
